Who we are
King’s Creamery was born following the desire to create a pot-set yoghurt that was truly premium. Based in the Waikato, our family is passionate about food and creating a quality product. Our team is expert at yoghurt and cheese making and use the freshest ingredients and highest standards to produce an exceptional product. We source our milk locally and make it in our purpose-built
factory in Hamilton.
Why we started
We have a passion for the home-made and natural flavour of pot-set yoghurt. Coming from the hospitality industry, our creators know food and wanted to enjoy a premium and tasty yoghurt that is versatile for many recipes.
We believe that once you try King’s Creamery yoghurts, you’ll never settle for less.
Our farm partner
Nestled in a valley in view of Taupiri Maunga and the Hakarimata Ranges, and close to the Waikato River is Tironui Farm. Tironui means Big View – and this is the place we source our exceptional milk from.
Jersey cows have been farmed on this land since the early 1900’s by farmers who know the land and the herds. Predominantly grass-fed, Tironui’s herd spends their time outdoors in the paddocks that make up 130 hectares of flat and lush farmland.
King’s Creamery yoghurt is made exclusively from the milk that these jersey cows produce. It is collected on the morning of milking and is set in the afternoon – you can’t get much fresher than that!
